Since 2006 I have been driving the Empire Statesmen Drum and Bugle Corps hither and yon from Toledo, Ohio to Boston, Mass. and many points in between, in the process also becoming a big fan of the Corps. On the trips I take paper and paints, and Candy Dancers is one of the resulting paintings on paper. While watching the color guard do their routines you can't help but be inspired-it's fantastic!
